What is SelenoYeast®?
SelenoYeast® is produced from specially selected Saccharomyces
cerevisiae yeast developed to naturally absorb inorganic
selenium from media. Through the yeast metabolism, the selenium will be chelated with amino acids into the organic forms known as selenomethionine (SeMet) and selenocysteine
(SeCys), the ideal forms of absorption.
Selenium plays an essential role in the animal’s life cycle
developing an antioxidant and immunostimulating function,
where its deficiency may suppress the ability to defend against
infectious diseases. Besides, it is critical to the reproductive
